Culture as a source of development for local areas, cities and enterprises: this is the starting point of the debate which will be held in AREA81, the headquarters of the Exclusiva Foundation in Rome. In keeping with the guidelines of the new regional policies on creativity and innovation, this pragmatic and programmatic debate will be exploring the topic of the impulse provided by cultural creativity and innovation in terms of economic development, starting from the role played by Advanced Cultural Districts.
The event, organized by the 5th Commission of the Regional Council of Lazio, will feature a discussion between Lidia Ravera (Culture Councillor of the Lazio Region), Cristian Carrara and Daniela Bianchi (respectively, the President and Vice-President of the 5th Culture Commission), while Michele Trimarchi (art and culture economist), Alessandro Rubini (project leader of iC – innovazione culturale distretti culturali for the Cariplo Foundation), Claudio Calveri (Senior Content Manager of DeRev), Giovanni Petrini (economist and expert on creative and cultural innovation) and Andrea Pollarini (cultural tourism expert and consultant for the Strategic Plan for Rimini) will be sharing their experiences.
The debate will be opened by Fabio Mazzeo (President of the Exclusiva Foundation) and will be chaired by Giorgia Turchetto (lecturer, fund-raiser and cultural manager).
